The crazies moment at the BET awards had nothing to do with the performances, but mostly about  big human error.  Imagine you get picked out of thousands of entries to present an award at the 2011 BET Awards and something goes horribly wrong in front of millions.  Well for contestant winner Tiffany Green that very moment happen.

Uber-Fan Tiffany Green presented the Viewers’ Choice Award with Terrence and Rocsi. She read off the tablet, announcing the winner as Chris Brown, but the teleprompter said Rihanna and Drake were the winners for “What’s My Name?” Drake accepted the award, saying, “Well that was awkward.”

After the humiliating mixup, host Kevin Hart brought Chris on stage at the end of the show and announced that he was indeed the winner.



“Bawling backstage. They totally fu**ed me up,” wrote Tiffany after being bombarded by angry fans.





BET programming executive Stephen Hill admitted the error was BET’s fault. “That BET Awards Viewer’s Choice mix-up was due to human error,” he tweeted. “And I was the human that made that error. I apologize to ALL affected.”

R & B Singer Ameriie Officially Off The Market "Just Married"

It's just "1 Thing"  Ameriie checked off her list, and that was her marriage vows.  The Grammy-nominated recording artist, 30, married former Columbia Records executive Lenny Nicholson on Saturday on Anguilla in the British West Indies.

"This is such an exciting time for me. This is my first marriage and I am over the moon," Ameriie told PEOPLE. "I look forward to a loving and enduring marriage. This day couldn't come any sooner for me. I am beyond thrilled. I will remember this day forever."

Ameriie had a beautiful island wedding, the bride didn't opt for a simple white sheath and bare feet, instead wowing the guests in a Monique Lhullier gown complete with a dramatic cathedral train, baby blue Yves Saint Laurent Tribute sandals and jewelry by Rafaello & Co.



Her hair was styled into an edgy up-do, decorated with strings of diamonds and pearls. The groom wore a Hugo Boss tuxedo.  With the bride's pastor, Reverend Phillip E. Knight, Sr. officiating at the ceremony, the couple held their wedding, reception and associated events at the luxury resort Viceroy Anguilla.



Platinum Wedding planner Tiffany Nieves-Cook created an opulent romantic setting for the "Platinum Style" wedding, while Washington, D.C., florist Janet Flowers was responsible for the floral arrangements.

The reception featured music spun by DJ Konflikt and a sea foam green seven-tier cake by pastry chef Yannis Janssens of Yann Chocolates. Every tier of the cake was a different flavor, and the couple had three cake tastings to make sure it would be perfect.



The newlyweds are honeymooning at the resort’s 5,000 sq.-ft. Romance Villa, complete with its own private beach.

Buju Banton receives 10 year prison sentence for cocaine trafficking

Reggae star Buju Banton has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role in setting up a cocaine deal in 2009, according to BBC News. Banton was convicted of conspiracy to possess five or more kilogrammes of cocaine with the intent to distribute by the Sam M Gibbons US Federal Courthouse in Tampa, Florida in February of this year.





He was also found guilty of possession of a firearm and of another drug trafficking offence.  Banton could have faced up to potentially 15 years in prison, but Judge James S Moody of the Tampa Federal Court in Florida sentenced him to 10 years – the most lenient sentence possible.

He also decided to throw out the gun charges after accepting that Banton had not been carrying a firearm, and could not have been aware that any of his confederates were doing so, either.

Banton said in a statement: "The man is not dead. Don't call him a ghost. The days that lie ahead are filled with despair, but I have courage and grace and I'm hopeful, and that is sufficient to carry me through."

His attorney David Markus, meanwhile, added: "This fight is not over. We will keep fighting for him. [Banton] is my brother, and I'm going to keep fighting until they tell me to stop."
