Jordin Sparks is the opening act of the Jonas Brothers on their latest tour. She sang her latest hit single with the band. Her second album, "Battlefield" is due out July 21 2009. Her first self-titled album released in 2007 went platinum. Jordin was only 17 when she won American Idol she is now 19.
Jordin said in interviews that she enjoyed having more time to work on this album before it was released unlike the first album which had to be rushed because fans were impatient to have her music. Additionally, Jordin was given the opportunity to write four of the songs included in Battlefield.
